Multiple OS in VPS Servers
We offer three different Linux distributions for the Operating System of our VPS servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are some of the safest and the most reliable OSs out there and we provide all three of them instead of just one because we realize that you may want to set up some software that has specific requirements for the Operating System it'll run on. The latter is due to the fact that each of the three Operating Systems has a huge support community behind it and there're different software packages you may install on the web server. Your OS selection will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS in case you want to use one and because of this we offer several Control Panels as well. In case you decide that you need to have a different OS, our tech support team can quickly wipe the existing one and set up the one that you would like. In addition, we offer an optional service to keep the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
The dedicated server packages that we offer come with three different Operating Systems to pick from. They are all Linux release - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license fees, but they’re also known as the most reliable and safe OSs. We supply three different ones because each one of them is backed by a separate community. The packages which you can add on your server are different and this may matter in case you need to install some piece of software with particular requirements about the hosting environment. In this light, the internet hosting Control Panel which you can select for the dedicated server also depends on the Operating System that you will pick. You can pick any of the three Operating Systems throughout the order process, however if necessary, we can always set up the server anew with another one upon your request. As an additional service that you can add to the package any time, we can update your OS on a regular basis to keep it as risk-free as possible.
